Adding a WhatsApp contact button

Add a button that opens a WhatsApp chat with you, so visitors can message you on their phone in one tap.

A WhatsApp button lets visitors start a chat with you in one tap — great on a phone, where most people already have WhatsApp open. It opens a new WhatsApp conversation to your number with an optional starter message.

Add a WhatsApp button

  1. In the editor, add or select a button (for example in a contact or call-to-action section).
  2. Set the button to open WhatsApp and enter your WhatsApp number.
  3. Optionally set a starter message that's pre-filled when the chat opens.
  4. Publish. Tapping the button now opens a WhatsApp chat with you.

NoteThe WhatsApp button is a direct link that opens a chat with you — it doesn't forward your contact-form submissions to WhatsApp. To collect written enquiries, use a contact form, which lands in your Inbox.

For pointing other buttons at a phone number, email, or booking page, see editing links and buttons.
