What this guide covers
If you run a restaurant, café, or takeaway, you don't have to type your menu in by hand. Upload a photo or PDF and SiteDrop reads every dish, price, and description for you, then puts it on your site as a proper menu.
Good to know — This is for food businesses— the menu feature appears when your site is a restaurant/café type. If you don't see it, check your site type.
1. Upload your menu
- Find the Add your menu option on your site.
- Upload a clear photo of your printed menu, or a PDF.
- SiteDrop reads it and extracts each item, price, and description.
2. Review what was read
You get an editable review of everything that was found, so you can fix a typo, adjust a price, or remove anything before it goes on the page. Nothing is added to your site until you're happy with it.
Tip — A sharp, well-lit photo reads far more accurately than a dim or angled one. If a few items come out wrong, it's quicker to fix them in the review than to re-shoot — but a better photo helps the big menus.
3. How it appears
Your menu shows up as a clean, mobile-friendly list grouped by course or section. You can keep editing it later from the editor — see editing text.
